    An excellent Asian bakery. It's my mom's favorite bakery in LA and she's a picky immigrant mother, so that's saying something. Even my dad will ask for a piece of the desserts we get from here, and he usually is hypervigilant about his sugar intake so he is overriding his desire to be healthy because the dessert here is so good. We've had a wide variety of different pastries from here, and they're all excellent and of course, not too sweet! Here are some of our favorites: matcha millet crepe cake, original coconut pudding, salted butter crispy cake roll, and original snow velvet babe. Service is friendly. Parking is eh; there's a free lot but there's usually only a few spots open. My only complaint is they've got boxes and supplies stacked around the shop and it ruins the aesthetic, but I get it's a normal sighting at Asian shops.

    Wonderful service!!! All the workers are actually really nice and very friendly to their customers for selling their expensive desserts!! The whole area inside the bakery store is very clean and fancy too!! I definitely will come back over there again in Rosemead, CA when I get the chance to!! Five stars is exactly my total rating!!!! Thank you all so much for everything!!!!!!

    So many cakes. Crepe, roll, and boxed. Also have what Looks like snacks and coconut pudding. I stopped by to pick up durian cake for granny. It was between the crepe and the boxed version. Decided to go with the crepe version since she liked it that time. Also it's just a little more decadent. Was tempted to get the osmanthus coconut pudding, but it needed to be refrigerated and I was going to be in the area for a few more hours. Will get that next time. It's kinda quiet. Get in and get out. No place to sit and eat the cakes. If you're trying to catch up with your girlfriends over dessert this place will not do. But they will get you your cakes quickly and out the door.

    I've known about Yu Cake for quite a while, as it is a very well known cake place in Rosemead that serves upscale mille crepe cakes with Japanese flavors such as matcha, hojicha, and taro. My wife wanted to give this place a try, so we decided to stop by. Yu Cake has a variety of various cakes in different ways. We ultimately ended up getting a mont blanc cake roll. My wife and I love chestnut cake, so this was the best option for us. The mont blanc was quite tasty, had a strong chestnut flavor, and was sweet but not too sweet. It's definitely on the pricey side, which is one of the downsides. Still quite good though. I will definitely come back in the future for treat days.
